WLNC 2023 AFTERWORD

Dear Friends,

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants who joined us at the WLNC 2023 meeting in Rio de Janeiro. Once again, WLNC featured an intensive live case program, which was executed flawlessly. This year, we have received 27 CME points with the great support of our esteemed faculty, who contributed to the exceptional quality of our educational and scientific content.

WLNC 2023, held in a fully in-person format, carried immense significance for our community as we sought to recover from the lingering impacts of COVID-related challenges and we were delighted to share this excitement with our colleagues.

We conducted high quality live broadcasting from 7 different cities (Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Sao Paolo, Istanbul, Buffalo/NY, Buenos Aires, and Shanghai) and hosted over 600 in-person attendees. It is also worth to mention that for the first time we added a full day "WLNC Stroke Day” to our traditional WLNC program structure, which resulted with a great success in terms of participation as well as education.

Now, preparations for WLNC 2024 have commenced, and we are thrilled to announce that the meeting is scheduled for May 7^th to 10^th, 2024, with Istanbul as our host city.

In collaboration with the "I Cure Stroke" Team, we have decided to organize the 2024 meetings as a "Joint Meeting." This decision was made in light of the fact that both meetings will take place in Istanbul next year, and pooling our resources will offer participants a more comprehensive educational platform, all while adhering to a more affordable budget.

You are cordially invited to join us in Istanbul, often referred to as ‘the timeless city' where the two continents converge, to enjoy the exceptional scientific and educational content, including live case broadcasts from several very well-known centers all over the world. Come and join us to hear about the latest developments in our field; engage in lively discussions, and witness intriguing and stimulating cases.
