Dr. Donglei Song is a former Chief Physician of Neurosurgery Department in Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University. He is also a professor and Ph.D tutor. When he worked in Huashan Hospital, he was in charge of cerebrovascular disease medical team. He was the Dean of Shanghai Deji Hospital and Director of Cerebrovascular Disease Center since 2013, but now he is the founder of "Brain Doctor Group".
He has completed more than 15,000 cases of brain and spinal surgery and he is one of the few specialists who are proficient in endovascular therapy and microsurgery as neurosurgery experts in both domestic and abroad. He is not only the first Chinese specialist licensed of Onyx treatment, but also one of China's first trainers of Pipeline treatment. He has been invited as a representative of China to give presentations and lectures in many international academic conferences. As to be a first author and a corresponding author, he has published more than 100 papers in the national core journals and more than 30 articles in SCI. He has been awarded more than ten times of municipal science and technology progress awards. In 2014, he is the winner of "Qi Pu Award" in which of the first Chinese health industry Doctor Service Innovation.
Now he is the Deputy director of the China Gerontological Society of Cardiac Cerebral Vascular professional committee member and executive director of the Chinese Medical Association branch. He is the vice chairman of the Professional Committee, vice chairman of the Chinese Medical Association expert committee of Neurosurgery Doctor Association and China Physician Association neurointerventional diagnosis and treatment Partnership Committee Deputy Secretary-General. He is the committee of China Society of stroke intervention branch. He is also the expert of the The State Planning Commission Guardian "stroke prevention project".
He also serves as Chinese non-public medical institutions Association executive director, vice president of the Medical Association of Shanghai social institutions.
